Therapeutic Approaches

Each therapy modality utilized is grounded in evidence-based practices, trauma-focused care, and a whole-person approach to healing. Depending on your needs, services are tailored to provide individual therapy for women, family therapy for children and adolescents, or individual coaching for women seeking personal growth, mindset support, and empowered behavior change. Each service is intentionally designed to meet you exactly where you are to help you build clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being as you move toward empowered healing.

Below are the tools we may integrate into your individualized treatment plan.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing

EMDR helps the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories so they no longer trigger overwhelming emotional responses. Using bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing process and helps clients feel calmer, more present and empowered.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy focuses on how trauma, stress, and emotions are stored in the body. Through practices such as grounding, breathwork, body awareness, and gentle movement, you learn to regulate your nervous system, release tension, and feel more connected and safe within yourself. It is especially supportive for trauma recovery, anxiety and chronic stress.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT helps you identify and shift unhelpful thoughts that contribute to anxiety, depression, and stress. It provides clear tools to reframe thinking patterns and build emotional resilience.

DBT blends mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication skills. It is especially supportive for women who feel overwhelmed, emotionally dysregulated, or stuck in reactive patterns.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Play Therapy

Through play therapy, children can express emotions, process difficult experiences, and build coping and emotional regulation skills in a developmentally appropriate way. It creates a safe, engaging space where they can explore feelings, practice new skills, and strengthen confidence without the pressure of traditional talk therapy.

Integrated Mental Health

This approach blends psychotherapy with holistic wellness, recognizing the deep connection between mental and physical health. It integrates:

• nutrition for mood + gut health

• movement for emotional regulation

• nervous system practices

• sleep + lifestyle wellness

• gut-brain harmony for long-term emotional balance

Because children & adolescents heal best within safe and supported relationships, family involvement is an essential part of the therapeutic process. Sessions may include parent guidance, joint parent–child work, or caregiver coaching to strengthen communication, increase connection, and reinforce emotional safety at home. This collaborative approach helps children and adolescents feel understood, supported, and empowered both in therapy and in their everyday environments.

Family-Centered Support

Therapy & Coaching Services

Individual Therapy for Women

A safe, collaborative space to process anxiety, trauma, relational wounds, low self-worth, boundary challenges, and the impact of interpersonal or domestic violence.

Sessions integrate EMDR, trauma-informed practices, and holistic wellness to help you build emotional steadiness and reconnect with your inner strength.

Family Therapy

I provide compassionate, developmentally attuned therapy for adolescent girls who are struggling emotionally, socially, or behaviorally. My work is trauma-focused, strengths-based, and rooted in collaboration with caregivers to create meaningful, sustainable change at home and school.

Sessions are engaging, relational, and tailored to each young person’s needs; whether that means expressive activities, mindfulness strategies, or structured skill-building. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where children and teens feel seen, heard, and supported as they grow.

Approaches include EMDR for children, play-informed strategies, and developmentally attuned support.

Empowered Healing & Wellness offers specialized support for women and adolescents girls navigating trauma, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Services are grounded in trauma-informed care, compassionate guidance, and evidence-based interventions.

Support for youth experiencing anxiety, behavior challenges, trauma, self-esteem struggles, or life transitions. Family involvement may be included to strengthen communication, coping skills, and emotional regulation.

Individual Therapy for Adolescent Girls

Coaching Services

For women who want personal growth, self-care transformation, and empowerment-I offer coaching programs designed to help you:

  • Break free from “nice girl” habits

  • Build boundaries rooted in your values

  • Strengthen self-belief, confidence, and emotional resilience

  • Create sustainable self-care and nervous system regulation habits

Coaching is future-focused, action-oriented, and rooted in mindset work, habit change, and emotional wellness practices.

Empowerment coaching is a separate service from psychotherapy. Coaching focuses on personal growth, mindset support, nervous system awareness, and behavior change. It does not assess, diagnose, or treat mental health disorders.

Engaging in coaching does not create a therapist–client relationship. If during coaching it becomes clear that therapeutic support is more appropriate, I will provide referrals or guidance for accessing mental health services.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment—unless due to illness or emergency—are considered non-emergent late cancellations and are subject to the full session rate of $150.

No-shows (missing your session without any notice) are also billed at the full session rate of $150.

Receiving support should feel accessible and transparent. Below you’ll find a clear breakdown of session costs, and the insurance plans I currently accept.
